We designed and built Trailhead for sportswear and outdoor brands, around the questions their shoppers ask: will it fit, what colours does it come in, what goes with it and what does the fabric do. It’s shown here with Fieldline, a demo brand we made up to put it through its paces.

Common questions
Should we customise our current theme or start again?
Often, customising what you have is quicker and cheaper. We'll look at your current theme first and only recommend a new one if it's genuinely holding you back.
Can you work on a theme we bought from the Shopify Theme Store?
Yes. Most of our theme work is on themes merchants already use, including paid themes from the Theme Store and themes built by other developers.
How long does theme work take?
It depends on what's involved – a few changes to an existing theme is a very different job to a full custom theme. Once we understand the scope, we'll give you a realistic timeline to work to.
Will we still be able to edit the store ourselves?
Yes. We build with Shopify's sections and blocks, so your team can keep editing content, pages and layouts in the theme editor.
Will the changes affect our live store while you work?
No. We work on an unpublished copy of your theme and only publish once you're happy with it.
